Chad Elledge

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, Chad co-founded BE Golf (formerly Golf Leadership Academy) in 2018 with Ben Bockin. In 2021, Ben and Chad opened a new, state-of-the-art indoor golf training facility in Novi, Michigan.

Chad grew up caddying at Meadowbrook Country Club just outside Detroit where he developed a deep passion for helping people improve their game and play better golf.

He took Harvey Penick’s Little Red Book to school with him every day, and as a caddy, used the book’s lessons to improve his players’ on-course performance. This set the stage for a lifetime of enjoyment instilling confidence and clarity in beginner and average golfers.

Chad’s practical approach works with any skill level and he believes that players are uniquely qualified to decide for themselves what works best for them. His coaching is player-focused, not a specific swing type or style, which allows measurable progress to be made in reasonable time. His students have won golf tournaments events at the junior, club, and collegiate NCAA Division 1 levels.
